Blast Over

For this project, the blast over technique was used, which is basically when a new tattoo is placed on top of an existing tattoo, but without covering it completely. Unlike a "cover-up", where the goal is to completely hide the old tattoo, in a "blast over" both tattoos coexist intentionally. The new design is often more abstract or with thick outlines that overlap the old tattoo, creating a mix between both styles and achieving a visually striking effect.
