Japanese Back Tattoo-Heron

A few days ago I finished this stunning full back tattoo, a design inspired by the elegance and fluidity of Japanese art, combined with my signature Blackwork style. This design stands out for its depiction of a Japanese crane, a symbol of longevity, peace and good fortune, in dynamic flight accompanied by sakura flowers, which provide a delicate contrast to the strength of the black lines.

The design wraps around the back with a balance of curvilinear elements and floral details, achieving a visual harmony that perfectly fits the client's anatomy. This project was both a technical and artistic challenge, as I sought to merge Japanese tradition with a modern approach, using solid lines and contrasting areas that highlight the depth of the tattoo.
